Twice Exceptional/2E
Twice exceptional (2e) individuals are those who have exceptional abilities or gifted alongside one or more learning or developmental challenges, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia. These individuals often face unique struggles in navigating both their strengths and their challenges, which can sometimes go unrecognized or misunderstood. I specialize in supporting twice exceptional clients by helping them understand the lens they see the world through and empowering them to embrace their multipotentiality, high sensitivity, strong sense of justice, as well as providing a safe and understanding space to explore thier unique experiences. I work collaboratively with them to develop strategies for managing their specific needs and maximizing their potential. By validating their experiences and empowering them to embrace their strengths while addressing their challenges, I help twice exceptional individuals thrive and achieve their personal goals.
Strengths
2e individuals may have outstanding critical thinking and problem solving skills, above average sensitivity, a strong sense of justice and curiousity, and a deep need to find meaningful and important work that creates positive change in our world.

Challenges
2e individuals may struggle with social skills, self-esteem challenges, boredom and lack of motivation, and struggle to find an identity that feels solid for them due to their complexity as well as the way they are perceived by others, including family members.
